1. What We Collect

Account data (name, email, username, favorite verse), authentication tokens, debate history, XP, community posts, and standard telemetry (IP address, user-agent). We do not sell your personal data.

2. AI Processing

Your debate turns, course-quiz responses, and Ask-an-Apologist questions are transmitted to third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude / OpenAI) under their respective privacy policies. Do not submit sensitive personal information in any AI prompt.

3. Cookies & Sessions

We use httpOnly session cookies and localStorage-backed JWTs to keep you signed in for up to 7 days. Sessions can be revoked at any time via the Log Out button.

4. Age Restriction

ApologetiQ is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately upon verified request.

5. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@apologetiq.site. GDPR/CCPA data subject rights are honored.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use signed JWTs. TLS in transit. No system is perfectly secure; we work in good faith to protect your data.

7. Community Moderation

Reports of misconduct are stored with the reporter's email for accountability. Moderator actions (dismiss / delete / warn / ban) are logged in our audit trail.
